How do veterinary practices relate to biology?
I’m doing an interview with a veterinary assistant for my biology course assignment, and I need an idea of what type of questions to ask that will apply.
What biology courses are essential to being a successful veterinary assistant?
Would courses in microbiology be beneficial?
Is a degree in biology essential or preferred to seek employment as a veterinary assistant?
Vets have to know the physical make up of animals in order to diagnose animals and treat them. Usually there is not an undergrad degree for vets (at least not at NCSU) and you must major is something like biology, then get accepted into the Veterinary graduate program.
