How will the magnetic field of the earth be affected?
We know that we are using iron on a stupendous scale for the production of many goods.A time will come when all the iron ore get exhausted. So, is that going to affect the earths magnetic field? Will earth drift from its orbit?
No way never. First of all, the Iron being taken out of the ground is still on earth. We are not taking it off the surface of the earth (except for space missions).
Second, and most importantly, the earth’s magnetic field is not caused by the Iron in it’s crust, or the outer part of it, the part where we get the Iron from. The earth’s magnetic field is very complex and has something to do with the core of the earth – which we cannot affect.
Third, we are not orbiting based on our magnetic field. We are orbiting based on gravity – namely the gravity of the sun working in conjunction with our gravity.
We will not drift from this orbit in any way that we know of now.
Get a sense of SCALE … (and at least the basis of some scientific education)
The whole CORE of the planet is made of iron .. ‘we’ have only just scratched the surface Crust (about 5km) .. there’s another 5000km to go before you reach the core …(which is another 1000km deep)
… and the idea that the Earth is held in orbit due to magnetism is a concept that was totally disproved over 250 of years ago when GRAVITY was first explained (see Sir_Isaac_Newton)
Well the iron stays on the Earth so it won’t be affected.
probably not there is a lot of iron, doesn’t mean there isn’t some other means for gravity like gravitons. and a magnetic dip in the , cant remember what its was called. a energy plane were gravity is.
on a PBS show …….magnetic storm

theye say the world may flip up side down as the poles reverse them selves
in a few hundred years. but there is now way we Will drift in space unless we blow the planet up
dont want to scare you
happend many times befor
The core of the Earth is pure iron.
