What are some good physics projects that are advanced enough to be in Intel Competitions?

Hello. I am needing some help brainstorming ideas for an Intel-level science project. I prefer something in the area of physics or astronomy. I especially like experiments having to do with new technologies for aeronautical and astronomical engineering or another very innovative field. I favor more rigorous projects that may take much effort, intelligence, and time. Any suggestions that may truly stand out? Thanks.
