I am currently a biology major but my school doesn’t offer a concentration in botany, just curious where I would be looking.

I’m from Oklahoma and will be moving to Florida soon with my wife. I’m taking prerequisites for plant biology in Oklahoma City and am looking for a good college in Orlando for a botany major. Does anyone know of any colleges in Orlando that have botany as a major?

I know pretty much nothing about growing plants, plant taxonomy, herbs, growing techniques etc etc. I would really like to understand a lot of this, since I hear so much about the benefits of growing plants in one’s home. What should I do to get a good beginning understanding of botany?

well i am looking to get into the career of botany, and i tried to look up the requirement but i couldnt find them except, i need 4-years to get my degree, and im not sure if there are any colleges in colorado, and/or amsterdam, because ima move up with my uncle to amsterdam when i get my whole degree, so can anyone help tell me everything i need to get into that career?
