I would also like to know how many we have looking down on earth. I can only think of 3 looking out into space, but I am a noob, and I am sure there must be more.
How can satellites fall to earth so easily without bouncing off of the atmosphere?
In Apollo 13 the space shuttle had to hit the atmosphere at just the right angle in order to avoid bouncing off of it. Why is it that a man-made satellite can fall to earth and manage to penetrate the atmosphere without a problem but for a space shuttle its more complicated?
Let me clarify:
Apollo 13 had to "hit" the atmosphere at the perfect angle in order to not bounce off the atmosphere. So looking at defunct satellites, how is it that they seem to hit the atmosphere at a perfect angle so as not to bounce off, when it seems that it’s not so easy to do?
What catostrophic predictions to the earth are predicted to happen soon?
I guess since ive heard of 2012 i have been kinda worried about what might happen to earth soon. I guess i tend to believe it all. What are the real things they have predicted to happen to us here soon?? And please be honest.
How fast is Earth traveling in relation to the center of the universe?
In other words, what is Earth’s universal speed? I already know that our galaxial speed is 2.1 million km/h.
