I’m just curious what sorts of physics topics scientists and engineers working on alternative energies would be familiar with. Thanks!

There’s this rotor ride found in Luna Park Sydney. Basically it’s a circular room which people enter. It rotates ridiculously fast while people lean against the wall. And then it continues to speed up until eventually people are sticking to the wall.

However, the floor then drops but you don’t drop with it, you remain stuck on the rotating wall. My question is why does this happen, in terms of the forces of physics?

I am a high school student with a deep interest for physics and mathematics. Currently I struggle in them and really would like to read some books on methods of solving problems and developing complex thinking strategies to solve them etc. Generally books that EXPLAIN WELL high school concepts aswell as developing thinking. Thanks!

By removing Forensic Science and replacing it with Applied physics then I would be able to get a head start in learning Physics before everyone in 11th grade. Because Physics is SUPER hard to learn in 12th grade and by taking applied Physics you can learn the basics.

Then in 12th grade I will take Physics and it would be a little bit easier to learn.

Is this a good idea and will college shine upon this?

I always forget what Biology encompasses. Obviously Chemistry has something to do with chemicals, but I need better clarification. And isn’t Physics the study of black holes and shit?
