What are good books for getting a solid math background for learning physics?

I’m proficient up to Pre-Calculus and I’d like to become more proficient in geometry and maths in order to better understand the physics book I read, beyond understanding in mere laymen’s terms.

Do you know any good math books that will introduce me to Calculus, advanced geometry, et cetera, so that I can understand the physics better?

Difference between general physics and basic physics?

I am a high school sophomore planning to take a dual enrollment course in physics at a local community college. I have taken algebra 2, but not pre-calculus. What is the difference between basic physics and general physics? Is basic physics, algebra based? Will I be awarded high school credit for that course?

Is it ok to take Physics (Calculus based) with a background of only College Algebra and Trigonometry?

Hi guys, I just wanted to seek a little bit of your advice.

I have not taken Pre-Calculus or Calculus before. But I have taken College Algebra and Trigonometry.

I am planning to take Physics I (Introductory Physics I) which has Calculus I as a Co-requisite.

Do you think I’ll be able to handle and pass Physics I with my background?
Thanks!
